TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of DigClue, digclue.com, the DigClue web game, mobile applications, game modes, live rooms, Discover/trivia, ClueCoins, belts, leaderboards, store features, and related services.

By accessing or using DigClue, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use DigClue.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create a DigClue account. If you are under the age of majority in your location, you may use DigClue only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians are responsible for the activity of minors who use DigClue under their supervision.

3. Limited License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, DigClue grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use DigClue for lawful entertainment and educational gameplay only. You may not copy, sell, distribute, host, reverse engineer, exploit, or modify DigClue except as allowed by law or by written permission from DigClue.

4. Accounts, Usernames, and Security

You are responsible for your account, username, password, login method, and all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You may not impersonate another person, create misleading accounts, sell or transfer your account, share credentials for misuse, harvest user information, or use another player’s account without permission.

5. Gameplay, ClueCoins, Belts, and Virtual Items

DigClue may include virtual currency, rewards, points, wallet balances, lifetime ClueCoins, belts, ranks, subscriptions, premium access, digital packs, power-ups, and other virtual items.

• ClueCoins, belts, ranks, scores, and virtual items are part of the DigClue game experience only.
• They have no real-money value and cannot be sold, traded, transferred, redeemed, exchanged, withdrawn, or converted into cash, goods, services, prizes, or cryptocurrency.
• DigClue is not a betting, gambling, lottery, casino, or cash-prize platform.
• We may add, remove, rebalance, adjust, suspend, reset, or modify virtual items, rewards, scoring, ClueCoin earning, pricing, or progression systems at any time.
• Unauthorized buying, selling, farming, exploiting, duplicating, transferring, or manipulating ClueCoins, wallets, belts, rewards, or virtual items is prohibited.

6. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Refunds

Some DigClue features may require payment, including subscriptions, ClueCoin packs, premium plans, store packs, or other digital items. Prices, features, availability, and billing terms may change over time.

Purchases may be processed by Apple, Google, Stripe, PayPal, or other payment providers. Your purchase is also subject to the payment provider’s terms. You are responsible for taxes, payment details, subscription renewals, and charges made through your account.

Except where required by law or the applicable app store/payment provider policy, purchases of digital items and subscriptions are non-refundable. We may refuse, reverse, suspend, or cancel purchases associated with fraud, chargebacks, abuse, unauthorized payment methods, or Terms violations.

7. Fair Play and Prohibited Conduct

DigClue is built for fair, fun, and respectful gameplay. You agree not to:

1. Cheat, exploit bugs, manipulate scoring, abuse rewards, use bots, scripts, automation, macros, hacks, modified clients, emulators for unfair advantage, or unauthorized third-party tools.
2. Attack, overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, crawl, bypass, or interfere with DigClue systems, security, APIs, rooms, databases, or user experience.
3. Post, share, upload, or transmit illegal, harmful, abusive, hateful, threatening, harassing, explicit, violent, defamatory, spammy, fraudulent, or infringing content.
4. Harass, bully, stalk, threaten, impersonate, scam, dox, or exploit another user.
5. Use DigClue to advertise, spam, solicit money, promote unauthorized services, or conduct commercial activity without permission.
6. Use DigClue for gambling, betting, cash exchange, money laundering, illegal transactions, or unauthorized transfer of virtual currency/items.
7. Submit false reports, abuse support, evade bans, create duplicate accounts to bypass enforcement, or help others violate these Terms.

8. Live Rooms, Chat, User Content, and Moderation

DigClue may allow users to create rooms, invite friends, share words, send messages, upload profile content, participate in leaderboards, or otherwise submit content. You are responsible for content and activity you submit or cause through your account.

You grant DigClue a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, moderate, adapt, and use your submitted content only as needed to operate, improve, promote, protect, and support DigClue.

We may monitor, hide, remove, edit, restrict, or delete content and may suspend or terminate accounts when we believe content or conduct violates these Terms, harms users, creates legal risk, or damages the game experience.

9. AI Clues and Educational Content

DigClue may use AI-assisted systems to generate clues, hints, trivia, explanations, recommendations, or game content. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or unsuitable in rare cases. DigClue is provided for entertainment and learning support, not professional advice.

You should not rely on DigClue for legal, medical, financial, safety, academic, or other professional decisions.

10. Intellectual Property

DigClue, including its name, logos, characters, graphics, art, sounds, videos, code, game design, user interface, clue systems, economy systems, text, website, and other materials, is owned by DigClue or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

No rights are transferred to you except the limited license described in these Terms. You may not use DigClue branding, assets, code, content, or materials without written permission, except for lawful personal use, fair use, or sharing permitted by app/platform features.

11. Third-Party Services, Ads, and Links

DigClue may include links, integrations, ads, analytics, payment processing, app store services, authentication providers, hosting providers, social media links, or other third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, policies, outages, purchases, or conduct. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

12. Service Changes and Availability

We may update, modify, suspend, discontinue, limit, rebalance, or remove any part of DigClue at any time, including features, topics, rooms, store items, plans, pricing, rewards, ClueCoins, belts, leaderboards, or content. We do not guarantee that DigClue will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

13. Enforcement and Termination

We may warn, restrict, suspend, terminate, reset, or delete accounts; remove content; adjust ClueCoins, scores, wallets, belts, or virtual items; block access; or take other action if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, abused the game, engaged in fraud, or harmed DigClue or other users.

If your account is suspended or terminated, you may lose access to your account, username, progress, ClueCoins, belts, virtual items, subscriptions, purchases, and other entitlements, except where applicable law or platform policy requires otherwise.

14. Health, Safety, and Emergency Situations

DigClue is not an emergency, crisis, medical, mental health, or safety service. If you or someone else may be in danger or experiencing a crisis, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.

Threats of self-harm, harm to others, or emotional coercion will not force reversal of enforcement decisions. We may report serious safety concerns to appropriate authorities or platforms where permitted by law.

15. Disclaimers

DigClue is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, security, and error-free operation.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DigClue will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of account progress, loss of virtual items, service interruptions, user conduct, third-party services, or unauthorized access, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

17. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold DigClue harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of DigClue, your content, your account activity, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice where required. Continued use of DigClue after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
