1. Delete Your DigClue Account

You may request permanent deletion of your DigClue account and the personal data associated with it at any time.

This page explains how to submit a deletion request, what information will be removed, what limited information may be retained, and how long the process may take.

2. How to Request Account Deletion

Send an email from the email address registered to your DigClue account:

Please include the following information so we can locate and verify your account:

• Your DigClue username.
• Your registered email address.
• Your DigClue User ID or serial ID, if available.
• An optional reason for deleting your account.

3. Identity Verification

To protect your account from unauthorized deletion, we may ask you to verify that you own the account. Verification may require a reply from your registered email address or additional account information.

4. What Will Be Deleted

After your request is verified, DigClue will delete or anonymize account information associated with your account wherever reasonably possible, including:

• Your DigClue account and authentication profile.
• Your email address, username, profile image, display preferences, and account status.
• Your scores, guesses, clues, hints, streaks, results, and gameplay history.
• Your Discover and trivia progress.
• Your saved words and marked-learned words.
• Your friends, groups, invitations, and room participation information.
• Your messages and social activity, where technically and legally possible.
• Your ClueCoins balance, lifetime ClueCoins, belt progression, achievements, and leaderboard information.
• Your notifications and account-linked preferences.

5. Information That May Be Retained

Limited information may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal, security, financial, fraud-prevention, or technical purposes, including:

• Fraud prevention and security investigations.
• Legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations.
• Purchase, subscription, refund, chargeback, and transaction records.
• Dispute resolution and enforcement of our Terms of Service.
• Temporary backup copies, server logs, crash records, and diagnostic data.

Retained information will be limited to what is reasonably necessary. Some information may remain in secure backups for a limited period before being removed through normal backup rotation.

6. Processing Time

Most verified account deletion requests are completed within 30 days. A request may take longer when additional identity verification, legal review, fraud investigation, or backup processing is required.
